ABOUT INNOVATION is a French legaltech startup co-founded in 2016 that has developed a collaborative SaaS system for building and managing intellectual property portfolios. About innovation was acquired in 2020 by the QUESTEL group.

Having already consolidated our activity in France, we had been looking for a few years at the opportunity to expand into several new markets, including AMLAT, where we started our activity in 2018 having almost no structure. Business France’s assistance allowed us to consolidate and accelerate our internationalisation process in Latin America.
In 2018, we were able to meet several local companies during one-to-one meetings and a pitch session along with other startups. In 2019, we participated again within this week of one-to-one meetings, which allowed us to highlight our partnership with Pernod Ricard.
Our main aim was to gain visibility and position ourselves on solid business opportunities. In addition to the participation of more than a hundred key players, Business France helped us to make contact with many companies with strong potential. This made all the difference. Over two years, Business France has positioned itself as a real and valuable long-term partner for Artefact.
We have successfully met a number of qualified prospects, with whom we are still working. We have received more than 5 offers and have already concluded 2 contracts. And this was possible as a result of the visibility provided by Business.


French company Artefact, specialising in digital marketing and data analysis, established itself in Brazil in 2018. The company was already well consolidated in France, but Artefact quickly turned its attention to the international market, and Brazil emerged as a strategic market (https://www.artefact.com/).

We were extremely well looked after by the Business France Brazil team during our business visit. They were able to meet our requirements and organise high-quality meetings with the relevant contacts. This mission allowed us to validate our intuition and to initiate a process to open an office in Brazil. The Business France team’s knowledge of the market enabled us to gain valuable time.
